Covid-19 Statement

Due to the impact of  Covid-19 on our normal business activity we are experiencing some disruption therefore we have found it necessary to suspend  our telephone service. This will be suspended for the foreseeable future. We want to continue to serve our valued customers in the best way possible, supplying the best products at the most competitive prices.

We also remain closed to walk-in customers.

The best way to contact us is by email. We will endeavour to answer your email as soon as possible.

We are working hard to fulfil orders at this time, at present we are around 4 days behind, transferring more of our resources to the warehouse will allow us to fulfill orders more quickly.

We hope to be able to return to normal service within 10 days.

Your orders are valued, our customers are valued, my colleagues are valued. All working together and with your understanding we will all get through this terrible period. 

03/04/20 Update:

We have had a large number of customers inquiring about our nitrile gloves recently. Under the current circumstances we have opted to offer our entire stock to a local health facility.

We do not want customers to be disadvantaged by this, and as such we have reduced the price on all our other gloves.

08/04/20 Update (from our email):

We are sure you are aware of the Covid-19 global situation. We have not been immune to it.

As such we have suspended our telephone service and have asked customers to email us with queries. We are working through these now but due to the virus situation we are working with a reduced staff, and will be unable to respond to emails in a time that you would normally expect from us.

We will be prioritising emails regarding active orders. If you have a general enquiry, we will get to this as soon as we can, but this may be in a week or more's time.

Please note - we apologies but we are unable to modify orders after they have been placed. Additional orders will need to be placed and/or the original order cancelled. Doing so will also place your new order at the back of the queue, so please order carefully.


Stock and supply chains

We are working hard with suppliers and our own workshop to keep up with demand for products. We appreciate your patience.
Orders and delivery times

Our warehouse is currently picking orders around number #60350. This puts us approximately 6 days behind schedule. We would ask you to bear with us whilst we work through orders.

Available staff from all other departments are helping to process orders as quickly as possible.

If you are planning to place an order soon, we would suggest placing it before you need it urgently, allowing extra time for it to arrive.
Orders of live bees - sold out

We are on course to have packages and nucs of bees in the first week of May. We have now closed orders for live bees for this year. If you have placed an order, we will be contacting you soon with collection and delivery information.

Easter Weekend

As is normal for this time of year, we will be closed entirely over the Easter Weekend. Our warehouse and sales office will close on Thursday 9th of April and reopen on Tuesday 14th of April. We do expect this to cause further delays with orders, and once again we appreciate your patience at this time.
