Live Bees Statement 2021
As you may have seen we have been making headlines this week with regards to importing bees and threats from DEFRA. There is no legal basis for DEFRA preventing the import of bees from Northern Ireland.
If you place an order or have placed an order for a package of bees, your £60 deposit goes into our separate bank account where it will be held. Should any of the circumstance change regarding COVID or import legislation, a full refund of these deposits will begiven.

What customers said in 2020
"The queen arrived by next day delivery and was in excellent condition. She has settled in well and is laying. I put just two frames of bees with her on brood and one frame of food and the hive is doing really well. The bees are very placid.
Service and communications excellent!" - Pamela, via our website.
"Introduced the Queen to a colony and when checked in just over a week I could see that she had been accepted and there was a good laying pattern. Cheaper than other Queens I have bought and so far seems good value." David, via our website.
"Lovely bee very large released after 3 days checked on here spotted small larvae bees were very placid. That happy decided to requeen my other hive so purchased another more than happy" - David, via our website.
"The Nuc. arrived by 0930hrs by special Post Office delivery. Placed the box where the hive would be and opened the box and left them till the evening when I transferred them top the hive. No aggression and settled in at once. Saw the Queen though I did not look for her. Since arriving they have been very busy. Fed them some syrup and they were fine. Had a look yesterday 27th Aug. and the brood box was full of brood and eggs so am leaving them to do what the bees do best. The bees have been busy pollinating in the garden so am very pleased and would recommend this strain of bees and Queen." - Richard, via our website.
